Ftp is a method of transferring your files to Street's for printing.
It is necessary to install an ftp program on your computer then follow the instructions below.
Please ensure you send an email after uploading your files!
One simple to use program is core ftp .

Step 1.    Organise your files.

Put all the files you would like printed into one folder. Name the folder your surname or studio name and a unique identifier for that folder.(e.g. Smith001)

Within that folder, create a new folder for each size print you require. eg 8x10, 6x4

Then, place the files for each of those sizes into their respective folders.

Step 2. Send files to us.

Drag your file folder (Smith001) from Windows Explorer or My Computer, into this window.→

A Sending progress guide will advise when complete.

Step 3. Send payment.

Select the sizes and quantities you require from the ordering window below. Then proceed to the secure ANZ eGate payment facility. An email notifying us of your order will automatically be generated and you can print out an invoice for your records.

Uploading:
Speed of your uploading of files to the lab are dependant on a number of factors.

1.The bandwidth available. We recommend broadband (ADSL or Cable).
2.Your plan with your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Most plans are designated with the download speed / upload speed. e.g. 1500/256 this means you can download files to your computer at 1500 kbps but can only upload files to an external computer at 256 kbps. If most of your work involves sending files to others try to get the fastest upload speed you can afford. NB Take care when you are near the limit of your plan as your plan may have unlimited downloads/uploads but may reduce the speed to 64 kbps when you reach a certain number of megabytes or gigabytes moved over the internet.
3. The download speed of the computer you are sending files to.
4. The amount of traffic on the internet at the time.
5. Check your upload speed when uploading files. This can be done when you are using an FTP program.
6. To check you download/upload speeds, try this. (Remember "upload speed" is the speed when you are sending files from your computer.)
