Wide Format Digital Printing
(Photographic Materials)

Street's Kodak LED II 20" (50cm) Digital Printer and Chromira 76cm (30") Digital Printer enables digital prints to be made up to 76cm (30") wide. The LED Printers produce images from digital files on real Photographic Paper, processed in RA4 chemistry. The paper is exposed by illuminated LED's (light emitting diodes) resulting in a very sharp image. See the Price List for details.

Larger sized canvases may contain a number of smaller images,(set up by client), i.e. 8 8"x10" will fit on a 20"x32" canvas, making output very economical, however, remember that output of individual prints from our other digital printers saves time and have the added bonus of being numbered on the back.

Transparencies as well as negatives or flat art can be scanned and output with exceptional results.

Wide Format Digital Printing
(Inkjet Materials)

Street's Imaging's Epson 9900, 9600 and 3800 inkjet printers enable the production of inkjet prints on various materials.
These include canvas, watercolor paper, fineart paper, backlit etc. Calibration for inkjet output is the same as for photographic materials. Inkjet materials are available up to 44" wide.
Street's use Epson archival Ultrachrome inks to produce images that will enhance any environment.
Canvas prints can be supplied as unmounted, stretchered on wooden stretcher frames or as a "wrap around" stretcher ready for hanging on the wall. All canvas products are supplied with a protective coating.

Backlit transparency material is ideal for Point of Sale displays. It is recommended that this material be laminated to provide the best fade resistance for commercial display.

Ink Jet Canvas prints.

Our canvas prints are printed onto a poly cotton canvas using our Epson 9900 and 9600 ink jet printers.
The inks are archival genuine Epson Ultrachrome inks.
Maximum width is 44"

Care and mounting information.

The canvas print is a fragile product.

This print is made from cotton canvas coated with an emulsion to take the dyes which make up the image. It is then coated after printing with a protective coating which will provide limited protection from abrasions and liquids etc.

However, treat this product as an expensive work of art.

The emulsion will crack if the canvas is bent over a sharp edge eg stretcher frame. If you are not using Street's stretcher services, ensure that your framer uses stretcher frames with rounded edges with a diameter of at least 12mm and does not stretch the canvas too tight. (Atmospheric conditions will cause the canvas to expand and contract and if the canvas is too tight the canvas may crack. There should be at least 10mm “give” in the centre of a 16x20” canvas print.)

The emulsion will crack where the canvas is folded tightly at the corners. This is normal.

The very nature of a natural product such as cotton canvas means that there will be imperfections in the surface of the canvas caused by the variations in the cotton threads that make up the canvas. This is normal and a feature of cotton canvas. These variations mean that the surface of the print is extremely fragile and may be damaged if placed face down on a surface or wiped without extreme care. Note also that the edges of the print are also susceptible to damage.

Canvas prints will not be accepted for return where:-

  1. The canvas has cracked at the edge of the stretcher frame through the use of incorrect stretcher frames or framing methods.
  2. Cracking at the folds at the corner of the frame where the canvas had to be folded to finish the print.
  3. There are imperfections in the surface of the print caused by imperfections in the canvas.
  4. The print has not been handled carefully and the surface is abraded causing damage to the surface.

All prints are inspected carefully before leaving the lab and are packaged carefully. The lab is not responsible for damage to goods outside of our care including whilst in transit. Street's recommend that insurance be taken out to cover goods whilst in transit.

Canvas prints should be hung in a clean environment and cleaned with a light feather duster. Solvents etc should not be used.

Street's also recommend that you advise your client on the treatment, handling and care of these images.
